It is with great sadness that Sigma Healthcare advises of the passing of our former Chairman, Mr Brian Jamieson, after a long battle with cancer.

Mr Jamieson joined the Sigma Board in May 2003 as a Director and became the Chairman of Sigma Pharmaceuticals Limited in June 2010. He remained Chairman of Sigma until he retired from the Board in May 2020.

Brian dedicated 17 years to the Board of Sigma, overseeing significant periods of change, challenge, and growth.  Brian’s years as Chairman spanned the celebration of Sigma’s 100-year anniversary, capital investment in generational renewal of our network, and several acquisitions and divestments. Leading the Board and Sigma Management team for over ten years, Brian made a considerable and lasting contribution to Sigma.
