Sigma Healthcare CEO and Managing Director Vikesh Ramsunder today said he was delighted to attend the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP) in Queensland to offer a united and strong outlook for the recently merged company’s three major franchise brands – Amcal, Chemist Warehouse and Discount Drug Stores (DDS).

Mr Ramsunder said it was important for Sigma’s three brands to have a strong presence at APP and predicted continuing store growth in the years ahead for its major brands. Once again, Sigma was pleased to be a principal sponsor at this year’s event on the Gold Coast.

 

“The recent successful merger between Chemist Warehouse and Sigma was driven by the opportunity to combine one of Australia’s most successful and recognised retail pharmacy franchisors with a dynamic and efficient pharmaceutical wholesaler, which has its own iconic retail brands. We will be showcasing the opportunity of our combined strengths at APP,’’ he said.
