In exciting news for our business, today we have announced a new multi-year strategic alliance between Sigma Healthcare and Pharmx, ANZ’s leading pharmacy ordering network.
This partnership positions Pharmax as one of our core technology infrastructure partners, strengthening the digital framework of pharmacy supply chains across Australia, New Zealand and selected international markets.
“We are pleased to formalise this long-term partnership with Pharmx,” said Vikesh Ramsunder, Sigma Healthcare MD & CEO. “The progress of Pharmx’s product suite and the alignment of our growth objectives make this a compelling strategic fit. By investing in Pharmx, we move beyond a traditional vendor-customer relationship to a scalable, global partnership that reduces complexity, enhances supply chain performance, drives deeper data analytics insights, and creates value and growth opportunities for both organisations.”
As part of the agreement, Pharmx becomes the preferred EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) service provider for Sigma wholesale, and Chemist Warehouse retail operations across Australia and New Zealand. Together, Sigma and Pharmx will collaborate on global EDI capabilities and a range of other digital services designed to modernise pharmacy supply chains and support industry-wide efficiency and growth.
When this change will come into effect
The first part of the partnership between Pharmx and Sigma will commence from 23 February 2026.
