NSW Chemist Warehouse store owner, Ramy Sourial was this week announced as one of the four winners of the 2025 APC Dr Erica Sainsbury award.
Ramy is passionate about the training and development of his pharmacists and has been avidly involved in the Intern Training Program practice examinations and session workshop facilitation.
“It is an honour to receive this award from the Australian Pharmacy Council,” said Ramy. “This award recognises not just me but all Chemist Warehouse and Sigma Healthcare (Amcal & DDS) owners, pharmacists and preceptors that have worked tirelessly over many years to train and nurture the future generation of pharmacists in this ever-evolving pharmacy landscape.

He received the award at the Emeritus Lloyd Sansom AO Distinguished Lecture Series in Canberra on Monday night (24 Nov), recognised by the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) with the Community Pharmacist Supervisor Award.
