We supports Australia’s largest retail network of franchised pharmacies, with over 880 franchised pharmacies across a core suite of four franchise brands – Amcal, Chemist Warehouse, Discount Drug Stores, and My Chemist.

From modest beginnings in Melbourne in 1912, the company has grown into a vibrant, nationwide network servicing community pharmacy. In February 2025, Sigma merged with the Chemist Warehouse Group (CW) – bringing together a compelling combination of Sigma Healthcare’s extensive state-of-the-art distribution infrastructure with Chemist Warehouse’s leading retailing know-how. The Merged Group partly owns 50 retail pharmacies in New Zealand, 10 retail pharmacies in Ireland, and 2 retail pharmacies in Dubai. A further 10 retail stores will be operated in China through services agreements with local companies.
