Gen Well is back for season two after a joint announcement from Foxtel and Amcal this week. Season two, set to premiere on Monday 5 October, will again be hosted by renowned television and podcast host, Ali Daddo, in partnership with Amcal, and follows a new group of multigenerational families as they embark on a series of transformative health and wellness experiences to explore what it takes to feel well at any age.

From hot button topics like gut health and allergies to oral health, women’s health, weight wellness, skincare and general wellbeing, the new season is packed by expert insights, practical tips and real-life experiences that will resonate with Australians.

“It’s more important than ever to put health and wellbeing at the heart of conversations happening in Australian homes, and Gen Well brings those conversations to life in a way that feels relatable to everyday families,” said Tony Bassaly, GM of Franchise Brands. “It showcases the importance of having trusted support along the way, particularly as we all navigate different health and wellbeing needs at different stages of life.”

This season introduces a diverse line-up of families spanning generations and life stages, including time-poor parents balancing demanding careers with family life, grandparents with no plans of slowing down, and a range of others with their own unique challenges in balancing their personal health needs.

“With Ali’s warmth and curiosity at the heart of the series, supported by trusted health professionals, we hope viewers feel entertained, informed and inspired to think about their own wellbeing and that of their families,” said Alexandra Hazlehurst, Head of Narratv, Foxtel Media.

Joined by a trusted support team of healthcare providers and Amcal Pharmacists, Ali guides each family as they navigate a range of common health and wellbeing challenges.

“Our local Amcal Pharmacists are an important part of that support network, offering trusted health and wellbeing advice to Australians and their families, and helping them take those small, practical steps towards better wellbeing,” said Tony. “We’re proud to partner with Foxtel to help bring these important conversations into homes across Australia, inspiring families to take charge together.”
